CFW 5.50 GEN-C now out | PSP Applications

It's here! The one that we've been waiting for and the one to stir up your lazy Sunday. Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-C is now out from Team GEN! This release finally allows you to install and enjoy all the games that requires FW 5.55 and 6.00 WITHOUT having to patch anything.

Things you have to take note of:

1. This CFW is for PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 v1 and v2 ONLY

2. The 5.03HEN-A will be updated shortly with the same opportunities

And for the much-awaited Changelog:

* Ability to run 5.51 + games without having to patch (UMD or ISO)

Possibility to use the XGEN Updater to install the official firmware 6.10 (For use only if you have a Pandora XGEN handy to be able to return later in Custom firmware.

Known bugs:

* IRShell can no longer launch ISO patch but the patch will be released in a few minutes

* La lecture des vidéos 480x272 pose soucis mais un correctif est à l'étude. Video playback 480x272 raises concerns but a fix is being studied.

* L'option qui permet d'accélérer la lecture des MS est en cours de portage vers le 5.50GEN. The option to accelerate the reading of MS is being ported to 5.50GEN.

and on any psp so PSP fat and psp slim TA-79 > TA-88V2 from any custom firmware or kernel exploit .
for the firmware 5.50 put your 5.50 updater on root of your memory stick renamed 550.PBP .
you can use it to restore any official firmware too on slim and fat upto 6.10!!!!
you can use it to install install any TT’s firmware on fat psp upto 6.10!! you’ll need to put your eboot.pbp
on roots of your memory stick like that X:/EBOOT.PBP .
you can also converter your old DC8 magic memorystick in shiny 5.50GEN B-2.
just select in the XGEN option Install XGEN pandora and restart your psp dont forget
to put the 5.50 eboot.pbp updater on root of your ms renamed in 550.pbp.

to bypass the battery check please connect your AC cord.
